Imagine Your Ideal Kitchen

Beginning a kitchen remodel is an exciting time. You’ve probably been thinking about it for a while, and now you’ll finally get to make the long-desired changes you’ve been dreaming of. You may already have a collection of photos that capture your vision for your kitchen. The first step of the process is to really imagine what you’d like your kitchen to look to look like—from the countertops to the cabinets to the flooring.

While you enjoy brainstorming the features of your new kitchen, our team is doing some less-exciting, but very helpful, logistical work. Things like measuring the size of your current kitchen, scoping out whether we can tear down that wall, or whether we’ll need to pull in any specialized contractors for the job.

Part of this process is conducting an As-Built Survey, an on-site inspection of your home by the design team. The goal of this visit is to take measurements, photos, and detailed notes in order to fully understand the space before beginning the design.

You’ll attend a Proposal Meeting where you’ll get to further discuss the design of your kitchen, cost estimates, and the process.

Partner With Your Talented Designer

What really differentiates a design build firm like Lamont Bros. is that our design team will take all of your desires, your inspiration, your favorite kitchens, and design a space that exceeds what you can imagine. We’ll also keep your budget in mind – it can be frustrating to design an amazing kitchen and then realize it’s out of your price range.

Perhaps the easiest way to get a feel for what working with a designer is like, is to hear from our designers. The video below features three of our interior designers addressing an all-too-common situation: a 90’s kitchen.

Each of the designers address what they see as the pain points of the space, and then provide 3-D renderings of what the kitchen could look like.

As you can see, our designers bring their expertise to every remodel. From arranging the layout of the kitchen, material selections for cabinets and countertops, color choices, they’re excited to help transform your space.
