Project Goals
The homeowners loved their kitchen’s classic aesthetic but needed more storage and natural light. They also wanted to maintain the original footprint to preserve the bungalow’s historic character.
The goal was to create a space that felt open and functional while keeping the beloved vintage style intact.
Our design choices centered on enhancing both the functionality and historic aesthetic of the kitchen without altering its original size.
To keep things light and bright, we chose a monochromatic color palette With white cabinets, countertops, and appliances. This approach helped reflect light and make the space feel larger without altering its footprint.
The custom cabinets were selected to maximize storage while maintaining a vintage feel.
By using panel-ready appliances, we allowed standout pieces like the retro range and apron-front sink to shine.
