Two builder-grade bathrooms in a Lake Oswego home were transformed into modern, light-filled spaces with geometric features and natural colors. The remodel maintained existing layouts while incorporating custom floating vanities, large-format tile, and enhanced lighting solutions. The successful transformation led the homeowners to prefer these updated spaces over their primary bathroom. (Read more…)
The original bathrooms were functional but lacked visual appeal and adequate lighting. Working within the existing layouts, the renovation focused on maximizing natural light and incorporating modern design elements.
In Bathroom A, removing a dividing wall allowed the skylight to illuminate the entire space. Bathroom B received new lighting fixtures and lighter finishes to replace dark wallpaper, creating a more spacious feel.
Both bathrooms feature:
- Custom floating vanities by Knight Cabinetry for modern style and storage
- Large-format Z Collection tile showers with minimal grout lines
- American Standard skirted toilets for easy cleaning
- Modern fixtures and finishes in a natural color palette
A highlight of Bathroom B is its seamless Dekton sink and countertop, imported from Italy, which required precise integration with the cabinetry. The end result so impressed the homeowners that these remodeled spaces have become their preferred bathrooms in the home.
