Small Bathroom, Big Impact
While most of the home had been updated, this bathroom remained stuck in time with outdated fixtures, bright yellow and red accents, and no laundry facilities. Our team at Lamont Bros. was tasked with modernizing the space while improving its functionality.

Project Goals
The project presented several challenges, primarily working within the bathroom’s limited square footage to incorporate multiple functions. We also needed to remove an existing garage access point while staying within budget through strategic product selections.
Our solution began with a complete layout redesign. We removed the garage access and existing cabinetry, making room for both a new walk-in shower and laundry area. To maximize value, we selected cost-effective materials that delivered high-end appeal: large-format porcelain tiles mimicking marble in the shower, luxury vinyl tile flooring, and remnant granite for the countertops.

Unique Features
The design focused on brightening the formerly dark space through new windows and bright white surfaces on the countertops and shower. We created elegant contrast with dark brown cabinetry and soft gray flooring, achieving a contemporary look that better matches the rest of the home. Chrome hardware additions completed the modern aesthetic.
The result is a bright, functional space that serves multiple purposes without feeling cramped – proving that with thoughtful design, even a modest-sized bathroom can deliver significant impact.
