Beaverton Primary Bathroom Remodel

Pull and Replace Remodel for An Outdated Primary Bathroom

When these Beaverton homeowners approached Lamont Bros. to do a remodel in their primary bathroom, they had several goals in mind. At the heart, they wanted a primary bathroom built specifically for their needs and style.

The homeowners wanted to remodel this bathroom because it was outdated and not being used to its full potential. The space featured a painfully small walk-in shower and an old jacuzzi tub that had long been doubling as a storage area.

To make matters worse, the bathroom featured what many consider the cardinal sin of bathroom design: wall-to-wall carpets.

Although the features and finishes were outdated, the overall layout of the bathroom had no major issues. As a result, the homeowners opted for a pull-and-replace remodel, in which all of the major features within the bathroom are removed and new items are installed in their place. The only exception was the mirror, which the homeowners wanted to keep.

Because the shower and jacuzzi tub were the most challenging areas of the bathroom, the homeowners

wanted to focus their budget in that area first.

The new design features a much larger custom tile shower with several wall niches for better storage, including one low shelf designed to serve as a foothold while shaving.

We also replaced the old build-in jacuzzi with a more contemporary freestanding tub.

To rid this Beaverton home of it's carpeted primary bathroom, our remodel team installed new luxury vinyl tile flooring. We also brought in a new double sink vanity with quartz countertops.

Although it took a little extra work, our team was able to salvage the old mirror from the previous bathroom and reinstall it in the newly remodeled space.

At the end of this remodel, the owners of this Beaverton were able to use their primary bathroom to its full potential. Instead of squeezing into a cramped shower or storing their belongings in an unused jacuzzi, they can make full use of a bathroom designed specifically for their personal needs.
