Luxury Spa Primary Bathroom Remodel
The owners of this Beaverton home approached Lamont Bros. with a vision to extensively remodel both their primary and guest bathrooms. Having previously collaborated with our team on a kitchen remodel, these homeowners understood the importance of working with an integrated design-build team to bring their renovation dreams to life.
Envisioning this residence as their forever home, the homeowners have been steadily remodeling different areas of their home to better meet their style and needs. The latest step in this process was to remodel the bathrooms. The primary bathroom was originally constrained by poorly optimized space and split up by several dividing walls.
Their vision was to transform the primary bathroom into an open, spa-like sanctuary. Additionally, they wanted to update the guest bathroom to be more functional for their growing children.
To accomplish these goal, our team designed an open layout for the primary bathroom that featured a freestanding tub and an open, curbless walk-in shower. In the guest bathroom, we performed a pull-and-replace remodel that included a new tile tub surround, vanity, tile flooring, facuets, and lighting fixtures.
The journey was not without its challenges. The homeowners had specific design aspirations and had independently purchased certain fixtures and appliances, all of which needed to be cohesively integrated into the design. Scheduling posed another challenge, as the remodeling work needed to be sequenced to ensure one bathroom remained
functional for family use throughout the project duration.
Our team meticulously planned the project to remodel one bathroom at a time, so that one bathroom was always functioning and available to the family during construction. This plan ensured minimal disruption to the family’s daily life. The design team worked diligently to incorporate the homeowners' purchases into the design, ensuring aesthetic and functional alignment.
In the primary bathroom, the homeowners wanted an open shower concept without a door. We helped them realize this dream while also maintaining a keen focus on splash zones and moisture management concerns that come with a doorless shower. The design successfully married functionality with the desired aesthetic, crafting a space that was both practical and resonant with the homeowners' vision.
The Beaverton Primary & Guest Bathroom Remodel stands as a testament to Lamont Bros.’ commitment to transforming visions into reality, navigating through challenges with adaptive, client-focused solutions. The homeowners now bask in a primary bathroom that radiates spa-like tranquility and a rejuvenated guest bathroom that elevates the aesthetic and functionality of their home.
Through collaborative planning, adaptive design, and meticulous execution, the homeowners brought their vision to life, crafting two bathroom spaces that resonate with their desires and needs, and bringing them one step closer to their perfect forever home.
