Our response to the COVID-19 Epidemic

Westmoreland Kitchen

project description

You wouldn’t know by looking at it, but this adorable range is brand new and sets the tone for this kitchen remodel in the beautiful Portland neighborhood of Westmoreland. The goal for this remodel was to maximize functionality for modern day living while preserving the essence of what we love about our Portland bungalows.

architectural features

Every decision was well thought out to achieve this charmingly classic kitchen. We kept the original footprint to retain an appropriate scale for a kitchen typically found in a bungalow home, but we maximized storage by removing a door. To introduce as much natural light as possible we then added a large opening above the sink that connects the kitchen to the outdoors.

design selections

In addition to the layout we were careful to select materials that emphasize the classic aesthetic while making the space feel open. The monochromatic color palette keeps things fresh and light filled. By choosing all panel front appliances the vintage inspired range, classic subway tile, apron front sink, and other classic elements become the stars of this stunning kitchen remodel.
