Kitchen/Bath Remodeling Superintendent (3+ yrs experience)

Department: Field Operations | Kitchen & Bath Division
Reports to: Project Manager
Wage: Hourly $18-$25 DOE

General Description:

A Remodeling Superintendent is responsible for all aspects of building a remodeling project, from demolition, to finished product. He may be responsible to lead and direct one or several helpers with a variety of experience. He is responsible to read plans, determine scope, source materials, and fully complete the work within the scope assigned to him. The scope may be an entire project or just one element.

Specific Responsibilities:

Operating Company Equipment

  • Clean Driving History and ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Safely use all sorts of power tools used for the construction trades
  • Follow guidelines from the company regarding use, treatment and sign in/sign out of equipment

Representing Lamont Bros.LLC

  • Ability to responsibly represent Lamont bros. LLC during interaction with our customers, sub-contractors and government inspectors.
  • Ability to understand customers’ concerns and needs in a residential remodel

Management of the work

  • Ability to source materials and or information at trade specific suppliers
  • Ability to direct others on a job site
  • Ability to accurately gauge timelines and provide feedback on such
  • Obtain and maintain LBPR License

Required Skills & Understanding

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years experience doing residential remodeling work in Kitchens and/or Bathrooms
  • 1+ year experience directing the work of others on a job site
  • Possession of and operation of a smartphone running either iOS or Android

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks at construction sites that require extensive physical labor, including lifting, climbing, bending, digging, and operating hand and power tools for 8-10 hours a day.
  • Able to lift 50lbs

Kitchen/Bath Remodeling Apprentice (1+ yr experience)

Dept: Field Operations | Kitchen & Bath Division
Reports to: Project Manager
Wage: $12+ Hourly DOE

General Description:

A carpenter’s apprentice is responsible to assist a lead carpenter (or tile setter) in any and all capacities. This may include anything from cleaning up a job site or the company truck, to helping frame walls, installing cabinets, putting down decking, or any other carpentry function. Our carpenters also handle a wide variety of remodeling aspects that are not specifically carpentry. This can include limited drywall finishing, concrete, painting, insulation, general repairs, etc. The carpenter’s helper may be required to drive a company vehicle to pick up materials, meet and show a job site to an inspector, etc.
